Established over a century ago, the Old Fitzroy Hotel is one of Sydney’s few remaining character pubs. Located in historic Woolloomooloo, the hotel remains a hub for the city’s local community, as well as its artists, musicians, actors, writers and people seeking an original place to meet. In a pub culture decimated by misguided refurbishment and thoughtless renovation, the Old Fitzroy stands proud as a place of character and substance.

The hotel has two bars, a bistro and is the home to one of Sydney’s first truly independent live theatres. It offers one of the city’s largest selections of tap beers, wines by the glass, and affordable meals all within a relaxed and charming environment. From street seating to lounge areas, a sunny balcony and an open fireplace, the Old Fitzroy truly has something for everyone.
